Honour your Life
It is our honour in life
To live fully every minute we are given,
To share our song, our gifts;
To feel the joy and strength within.
See the beauty even when we hurt,
When fear tries to take hold.
Feel gratitude each morning,
give thanks at night.
Banish fatigue the days,
the days it threatens to make us fold;
Just rest.
Hear the birds feeding and singing.
See deeply the beauty
The strength of the trees.
Standing there Sentinels
reaching for the sky,
with strength, stillness and serenity;
Life just is, sun and storm
Always Is.

Miriam, this is a beautiful poetic reminder to us all – and more pertinent than ever in today’s deeply troubling world. May we learn from the wonder of nature, truly absorb its beauty and follow its wisdom as we enter a realm of just being! x

Thank you for another comforting and strengthening poem, Miriam. “Banish fatigue….Just rest,” relates to how I wonder, why am I so tired sometimes? What’s wrong with me? Nothing. I don’t need to worry about it – just rest, hear the birds, draw strength from the trees.

JoAnna, a warm thank you for your delightful comment. How glad I am if the words helped you in any way. I have found that worry and fear can sap your strength. Nature has a calming and healing impact if we take the time. 🌻🌴💕.

I never thought of it as meditation, so thank you for this uplifting comment.
At times when we think in stillness it could be that we meditate. 😊.

This is my favorite part: To share our song, our gifts;
To feel the joy and strength within.
Some of us don’t share our gifts because we think they are of no value and a nuisance to others, but the opposite is true!

Adrienne, a warm thank you for your wonderful comment. Yes, we often lock
in what we want to share. Maybe because of shyness, fear of not reaching…. altogether
lack of trust in ourselves.

😊 Thank you, Roland for your fun comment. I could make a much longer
‘ to-do’ list but contained myself. Yes, nature is a great healer and inspirer.
I am sure you feel that too.
