    • Erica, a heartfelt thank you for this wonderful comment. To have you share
the happiness is a warming feeling.
I took the photo at Mark’s Hall on a forest walk the other day.

By the way, where are you. I don’t seem to find your posts any longer??

      • We have been away doing a couple of overnighters in our camper and visiting my Mom and Sister. Only approx 100 km away and a huge treat to see them. Nice to connect, Miriam and share some of the good on our planet. 🙂

    • Hiya, B, this cute colourful thing 😊 I found out is called Arum Italicum.
I am sure each country has a more local name but personally I find the
      Latin one very apt. X

    • Andrea, thank you for your beautiful comment. I also stood there wondering
about this one plant pushed itself so straight through the undergrowth.
There is joy in such courage and beauty in the achievement.

  1. Miriam, what a gem of a poem and your words shine even more light on this most unusual flower! I’m glad you found out its name and I’ve been able to read more about it. A beautiful reminder that even in the starkest of places, life and light glimmers through … we must never lose that hope! hugs xx
